Files and model information

The viewer reads only the file you select or the resource ChatGPT authorizes for the plugin. Local viewer files are processed in your browser. The inspection tool downloads its explicitly supplied authorized file to the service, checks geometry in memory, and returns dimensions, units, triangle count and optional fit. The service does not maintain a model library or save model files. Downloads and analysis are bounded, cancelled when superseded where supported, and discarded when each operation ends.

Views shared with ChatGPT

When you choose Share view with ChatGPT, a captured PNG is uploaded through ChatGPT’s host API. Its authorized file ID and concise model context, including visible measurements and pin requests, become available to subsequent conversation turns. The plugin does not send a follow-up message automatically. ChatGPT stores and processes uploaded files and conversations under your account settings and OpenAI’s policies. Recoverable UI state may be kept by ChatGPT; the service does not persist it.

Operational information and providers

The service runs on Kyle’s VPS behind Cloudflare and Caddy. Hosting and network providers process request metadata such as IP addresses, request timing, paths and errors for delivery and operations. Application logs do not intentionally include model contents, file bytes, annotation text or signed download URLs. We do not add advertising trackers or sell personal data. Support email is handled through Migadu and retained for responding to your inquiry.

Your choices

Use local inspection without invoking server analysis, delete pins and measurements, cancel a load, or close the viewer. Manage retained conversations, uploads and plugin access through ChatGPT. Contact us about support correspondence or operational data associated with the service. Do not submit files you lack permission to process.
